Este gentilhombre inglés bien podría haber estado acostumbrado a nadar en los mismos lagos donde yo nado hoy en día, en el increiblemente salvaje Hampstead Heath (un paisaje de ensueño en el noroeste de Londres), pero cien años atrás.

This English gentleman may well have used to swim in the same ponds I swim in nowadays, in the incredibly wild Hampstead Heath (a dreamscape in North West London), but one hundred years ago.

La petite Coco

Permítanme presentar a Coco: ella es una pequeña (mide 3 pulgadas – 7.5 cm) señorita francesa de  1920 lista para ir a la playa. Incluso cuando ama el mar, es más del tipo de persona que prefiere quedarse en la sombra leyendo a Jacques Prevert antes que jugar en el agua. Ella no lo sabe, pero está hecha de papel maché, pintada a mano y barnizada.

Let me introduce Coco: she is a petite (3 inches-7.5 cm tall) 1920s French lady ready to go to the beach. Even though she loves the sea, she is more the kind of person who prefers to stay in the shade reading Jacques Prévert’s poetry, rather than playing in the water. She doesn’t know it, but she is made of paper mache, hand-painted and sealed with matt varnish.
