Hice a Jane en honor a Jane Franklin, la hermana de Benjamin. Supe de ella por el relato “Si él hubiera nacido mujer” de Eduardo Galeano. Como el escritor mismo anuncia: “su caso carecerá de importancia para los historiadores”.
I made Jane after Jane Franklin, sister of Benjamin. I found out about her by reading the text “If he had been born a woman” (Si él hubiera nacido mujer) by the Uruguayan writer and journalist Eduardo Galeano. As Galeano says: “her case will awaken no interest in historians”.
